Collaboration with Salamiou Village
Our participation in the European Days of Terraced Landscapes (Salamiou, October 2023), an annual event established by ITLA (International Terraced Landscapes Alliance) resulted in a request by Salamiou village, a fire-stricken community from a different area, to join our project.
By utilizing the events of the Landscape Days, we were able to raise awareness in the community about our project, organize educational activities for young children, offer training in dry-stone walling to children and adults from all over Cyprus, and to conduct a SWOT exercise.
