Δεντροφύτευση στους Αγίους Βαβατσινιάς, έργο ΠυρΑνάκαμψη
Δεντροφύτευση στους Αγίους Βαβατσινιάς διοργάνωσε το Ίδρυμα Λαόνα το Σάββατο, 9 Μαρτίου 2024, σε συνεργασία με το Κοινοτικό Συμβούλιο Αγίων Βαβατσινιάς, το Σωματείο Αποδήμων και Φίλων, την Εκκλησιαστική Επιτροπή και το Σωματείο Νέων της κοινότητας, καθώς και το Σωματείο Φοίνικας.
Η δεντροφύτευση έγινε στα πλαίσια του δικοινοτικού έργου ΠυρΑνάκαμψη-Alevlerden Geleceğe και σηματοδότησε την συμπλήρωση του μετά από δύο χρόνια εργασίας.
230 δέντρα και θάμνοι φυτεύτηκαν γύρω από το γήπεδο ποδοσφαίρου και κατά μήκος των διαδρομών προς το Παρεκκλήσι του Αγίου Παϊσίου από ομάδα 35 εθελοντών τους οποίους ευχαριστούμε ιδιαίτερα για τη συμμετοχή τους!
Η μέρα ξεκίνησε με πρωινό στο Ermis Brunch and Tavern και μετά τη δεντροφύτευση ακολούθησε με μεσημεριανό στην ταβέρνα της Χλόης.

Το έργο ΠυρΑνάκαμψη έλαβε επιχορήγηση στο πλαίσιο του προγράμματος Active Citizens Fund Cyprus, που χρηματοδοτείται από την Ισλανδία, το Λιχτενστάιν και τη Νορβηγία, μέσω των επιχορηγήσεων του ΕΟΧ και της Νορβηγίας 2014-2021.

Tree planting event in Ayioi Vavatsinias, PyrAnakampsi project
The Laona Foundation organized a tree planting in Agioi Vavatsinias on Saturday, March 9, 2024, in collaboration with the Community Council of Agioi Vavatsinias, the Expatriates and Friends Association, the Ecclesiastical Committee and the Youth Association of the community, as well as the Phoenix Association.
The tree planting took place within the framework of the bi-communal Fire Recovery-Alevlerden Geleceğe project and marked its completion after two years of work.
230 trees and shrubs were planted around the football pitch and along the routes to the Chappel of Ayios
Paisios by a group of 35 volunteers which we thank for their participation!
The day started with breakfast at Ermis Brunch and Tavern and closed with lunch at Chloe’s tavern.
