The submission of applications from Cypriot farmers to participate in the land-selection competition was completed on June 30, 2023 (after a one-month extension). Submission of applications began on March 1, 2023. Submission was made both through an application distributed to farmers at the project’s informative meetings and electronically through the project‘s webpage.
The total land offered to the project for evaluation reached 822.4 hectares from 60 applicants. The vast majority of land (99%) is in the provinces of Larnaca and Nicosia. The goal of the project is to select 350 ha from the offered land for its 3 actions.
