From field observations to strategic direction: LIFE-AgrOassis Scientific Committee meeting in Volos

On 17-18 February 2026, the partners and members of the Scientific Committee met in Volos to review progress and shape the direction of the project’s final implementation phase.

The meeting began in the field. Partners and Committee members visited the project’s implementation sites, including plots applying no-tillage practices and areas where hedgerows have been established. Direct engagement with field conditions provided insight into both the challenges encountered and the results achieved to date.

Members of the Committee who were unable to attend in person remained actively involved through remote participation, receiving live updates, video material and photographic documentation to ensure continuous engagement in the process.

The field visits were followed by a meeting during which project outcomes were presented, implementation progress was assessed, and clear timelines and milestones were defined to guide the successful completion of the project.

As LIFE-AgrOassis enters its final stretch, the scientific guidance and oversight of the Committee remain fundamental to ensuring the consistent achievement of its objectives.
