The production of the first 3,000 deep-rooted plants with the pioneering system of root-growth tubes by the Department of Forests in collaboration with the KES RESEARCH CENTER has begun.
The system is being implemented for the first time in the Mediterranean and will be used to create 30km of drought-resistant hedgerows on Cypriot farms, contributing to the adaptation of Cypriot agriculture to climate change.
